According to the type of crane main beam structure, it is divided into single beam gantry crane and double beam gantry crane. There are three types of gantry structure: double cantilever, single cantilever and no cantilever. When there is only one leg, it is called a semi-portal gantry crane.
Crane Components
The crane is composed of portal steel structure, trolley, trolley operating mechanism, electrical system and other main parts. The crane for outdoor work is also equipped with a rail clamp, a weight limiting device, a limiting device for each mechanism, and sometimes an anchoring device, anchor cable device, wind speed/direction indicator, and a deviation correction device according to the need.
Use Environment
Cranes for indoor use
① The ambient temperature does not exceed +40℃, and the average temperature within 24 hours does not exceed +35℃.
② The ambient temperature is not lower than -5℃.
③ At a temperature of +40℃, the relative humidity does not exceed 50%.
Crane for outdoor use
① The ambient temperature does not exceed +40℃, and the average temperature within 24 hours does not exceed +35℃.
② The ambient temperature is not lower than -25℃.
③ When the ambient temperature does not exceed +25 ° C, the relative humidity is allowed to be temporarily as high as 100%.
④ Working wind pressure is not greater than: 150Pa inland (equivalent to 6 wind), 250Pa coastal (equivalent to 7 wind).
Safety Criteria
1. The side of the crane must be hung with a tonnage plate indicating the maximum lifting weight, span, working level and manufacturer of the crane.
2. When the crane is working, people are not allowed to stand in other places except the control room.
3. When monitoring or repairing on the crane, the crane must be powered off.
4. When the crane is running without heavy objects, the hook is 2.5 meters from the ground (that is, more than the height of a person).
5. It is strictly prohibited to carry heavy objects from people's heads when the crane is carrying heavy objects.
6. When the crane is running with heavy objects, the lowest point of the heavy objects should be at least 0.5 meters away from the highest obstacle on the road of the heavy objects.
7. It is strictly prohibited to transport or lift people with hooks.
8. It is forbidden to drop items from the crane by any means.
9. Tools, spare parts, fasteners, debris, etc. must be stored in special boxes, and it is prohibited to put them on the crane to avoid personal or equipment damage accidents when the objects fall.
10. It is prohibited to store flammable items (such as kerosene, etc.) on the crane, and do a good job of fire prevention on the crane.
