Reasons For Crane Electric Hoist Not Working

The electric hoist of the crane will inevitably fail in the process of use. In order to ensure the safe operation of the electric hoist, timely and accurate handling of various failures in operation has become an important part of construction and production. Combined with the experience of installation and maintenance, the manufacturer of the electric hoist of the crane made a specific analysis of the causes of the common faults of the hoist. The main reason why the electric hoist did not work after pressing the start switch was that the electric hoist was not connected to the rated working voltage and could not work. Generally, there were three cases:
1. No power supply: whether the power supply system supplies power to the electric hoist is generally tested with a test pencil. If there is no power supply, it needs to work after power supply.
2. Phase loss: the electric appliance of the main control circuit of the hoist is damaged, and the line disconnection or poor contact will also cause the hoist motor to fail to work normally due to phase loss. In this case, the maintenance personnel need to maintain the control circuit. During maintenance, to prevent the main and control circuits from burning the motor due to lack of phase to the three-phase motor power supply, or the hoist motor from suddenly energizing, which may cause harm. The hoist motor must be disconnected from the power line to only supply power to the main power control circuit, and then click the start and stop switches to check and analyze the working conditions of the control appliances and circuits, repair or replace the faulty appliances or circuits, and confirm that the main and control circuits are free of faults before re commissioning.
3. Too low voltage: the voltage at the motor end of the hoist is more than 10% lower than the rated voltage, and the starting torque of the motor is too small, making the hoist unable to lift goods and work. During inspection, use a multimeter or voltmeter to measure the voltage at the motor input terminal.
The above are the possible factors provided by the manufacturer of the electric hoist of the crane for the equipment to be unable to work, and I hope to help you!
