The design and manufacture of casting cranes should comply with the relevant provisions of standards GB3811 and JB/T7688, and comply with the requirements of the General Office of the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (National Quality Inspection Special Letter (2007) No. 375) documents. Cranes are used to lift high-temperature liquid metal in smelting workshops.

1. Environmental conditions
◎The working environment temperature of the crane is as low as -10℃ and as high as +60℃.
◎The relative humidity does not exceed 50% at a temperature of +40°C.
◎The altitude where the crane is installed and used does not exceed 2000m.
◎The power supply of the crane is three-phase AC: 50Hz, 380V.
◎There must be no flammable, explosive and corrosive gases in the area where the crane is used.
◎The installation of the crane's running track should generally comply with the regulations of GB/T10183.

2. Installation requirements
◎In the mechanism transmission chain, when adjusting the base or pad of each component, it is allowed to add an adjustment pad, but it should not be more than two layers, and it must be welded firmly after installation.
◎The hinge points of each joint in the mechanism transmission chain should be able to rotate flexibly.
◎After the brake wheel is installed, its radial circular runout should comply with the requirements in Table 1. Turn the brake wheel by hand to ensure that the last drive shaft is free of any abnormalities such as jamming.

◎ The warp of track gauge measured by trolley wheel should not be over ± 3mm.

◎ The warp of laminated hook:

The working surfaces of two hook mouths should keep plane and their comparative height difference should not be over 2L/1000, and max.10mm.

3. Safety inspection
Check whether the specifications and status of important parts of the crane meet the requirements, such as various mechanisms, electrical equipment, safety devices, brakes, controllers, hydraulic devices, lighting and signaling systems; the metal structure of the crane and its connections, ladders, passages, driver's cabs and Walking platform; all protective devices; all retrieval devices; wire ropes and their fasteners; pulley blocks and their axial fixings; various instruments, etc.
