Grab For Handling Scrap

A Grab for handling scrap will be used for charging and discharging of scrap metal. Depending on the size, density and type of the scrap which will be handled with the Grab for handling scrap, these grabs can be executed with open shells, half closed shells or fully closed shells.

There are two types of grab buckets, the orange peel grab and clamshell grab. The orange peel grab is suitable for handling materials, such as, steel scrap, big iron stock, garbage, and steel mills whereas the clamshell grab is used to lift small bulk materials, such as, grain, bulk fertilizer, etc.

Electric hydraulic orange peel grab buckets are specially applied in charging & discharging of sand, waste steel & big stones. These grabs cab be executed with open or closed shells depending on the job & the type of material to be handled. The grabs are manufactured of high wear resistant steels. All bearings are heavy duty & sealed for high performance. The grabs also can be designed with the hydraulic rotator for 360 degree rotation.
