Cantilever Gantry Crane

Cantilever gantry crane is a variant of bridge crane. The shape and structure of the gantry crane is more like a door frame. According to client's operation conditions, there are both single cantilever beam and double cantilever beam as options at the crane girders both sides, if the crane has cantilever beam, which can increase the crane operating area.

The mobile device can be installed under the bearing main beam and can walk directly on the ground track. Gantry cranes are widely used in air freight yards, open storage yards, shipyards, power stations, large docks, ports, railway freight stations and other places for handling and installation due to their high site utilization, large working range and certain mobility.

This crane is the most widely used and can handle all kinds of articles and bulk materials. The lifting capacity is less than 100 tons and the span is 4~35 meters. The ordinary gantry crane with grab bucket has a higher working level.

It is mainly used to lift and hoist the gate, and can also be used for installation. The lifting capacity is 80~500 tons, and the span is small, 8~16 meters; The lifting speed is low, which is 1-5m/min. Although this kind of crane is not often lifted, once it is used, the work is very heavy, so the work level should be appropriately improved.

It is used for assembling the hull on the slipway. There are always two lifting trolleys: one with two main hooks runs on the track of the upper flange of the bridge; The other one has a main hook and an auxiliary hook, which run on the track of the lower flange of the bridge to overturn and hoist large hull segments. The lifting capacity is generally 100~1500 tons; The span is 185 meters; The lifting speed is 2~15m/min, and the inching speed is 0.1~0.5m/min.

For container terminals. After the container unloaded from the quayside container carrying bridge is transported to the storage yard or the rear by the trailer, it is stacked by the container gantry crane or directly loaded and transported away, which can speed up the turnover of the container carrying bridge or other cranes. The yard can be used for stacking containers with a height of 3-4 layers and a width of 6 rows, generally tire type or rail type.

The span and the height of both sides of the gantry of the container gantry crane are larger than that of the container cross car. In order to meet the transportation needs of port terminals, this crane has a higher working level. The lifting speed is 35~52m/min; The span is determined according to the number of container rows that need to be crossed, and the maximum is about 60 meters. The lifting capacity of containers for "single container" operation is about 40.5 tons, and the lifting capacity of "double 20-foot container" operation is 61 tons and 65 tons.

1. The hoisting structure is completed by relying on the rail, which eliminates the fault source from the tire crane or diesel generator set in the traditional sense, and reduces the fault occurrence rate during the operation of the crane.
2. Gantry cranes are mostly driven by electricity, so there is no need to change the engine oil during operation. The maintenance consumables are effectively controlled. The maintenance costs are small, the cost is low, and the economic benefits are significant.
3. During the hoisting of gantry crane rails, the rails are in a fixed state. Cooperate with the cart positioning device to avoid the problem of deviation when the load force is high, and the automation level is high.
4. During the operation of the gantry crane, it is directly connected to the high-voltage power supply. When the mechanism does not operate, it will not produce noise pollution or air pollution. In addition, energy feedback can be realized when the lifting mechanism is lowered by introducing an energy feedback device to save energy consumption
