Suction Lifting Equipment

 

 

Suction lifting equipment supports glass panel transfer for scenarios that rule out direct manual handling and demand regulated orientation adjustment. Its product lineup enables suspended material movement for insulated glass, tempered glass, glass curtain wall panels, solar glass sheets and raw glass blanks for cutting. Engineers select the proper model according to panel weight, surface finish, overall size, pickup and placement locations, alongside requirements for turning, rotation, or combined rotational movement of the workpiece.

This unit integrates a lifting frame, vacuum suction cups, compressed-air driven vacuum generation set and manual control assemblies. Different models adopt 2, 4 or 6 vacuum cups, with standard cup sizes of 250 mm and 300 mm in diameter. The vacuum circuit runs on compressed air supplied at 0.6–0.8 MPa. Multiple assemblies deliver pneumatic 0–90° turnover paired with pneumatic 0–90° rotation; special-purpose versions are built to perform just one of these two movements. This functional difference is critical when panels need to shift between horizontal, vertical or angled intermediate positions inside glazing production lines or loading zones.

The HP-QFX range is intended for glass handling positions requiring both turnover and rotation. HP-QFQ variants are arranged for upright insulated-glass and curtain-wall handling. HP-QFD models are used for solar glass and cut glass sheets where a compact structure is required, including clean workshop conditions. HP-QXQ is configured for pneumatic rotation. Suction lifting equipment can be matched with fixed jibs, wall-mounted cranes or overhead cranes at a set anchor point. For bespoke factory layouts, balance jibs or overhead workshop suspension systems are also viable options. The complete setup requires verification against the actual lifting hardware, operational working zone and glass panel specifications before deployment.

 

 

 

• Pneumatic vacuum source: Vacuum is generated by compressing air at 0.6 - 0.8 MPa.
• Configured with suction cups according to model: 2, 4, and 6 suction cup arrangements are provided. The diameter of the suction cups is configured according to the model as 250 mm or 300 mm.
• Configuration for attitude transformation: Pneumatic 0-90 degree flipping and 0-90 degree rotation can be achieved.
• Can be equipped with suspended lifting mechanism: When the installation conditions are met, it can be paired with fixed jib cranes, wall jib cranes or bridge cranes.
• Manual control method: The listed equipment adopts manual control. The flipping or rotating actions are adjusted by pneumatic control components.

What materials can this suction lifting equipment handle?

It is intended for listed glass applications including insulated glass, tempered glass, curtain-wall panels, solar glass and glass sheets. Suitability of the cup contact surface must be confirmed for the actual material.

Which models can both turn and rotate a panel?

The listed HP-QFX and HP-QFQ models provide pneumatic 0-90 degree turnover and pneumatic 0-90 degree rotation. HP-QFD is listed for turnover only, while HP-QXQ is listed for rotation only.

What air supply is required?

The listed vacuum system operating range is 0.6-0.8 MPa compressed air. Site air quality and connection conditions require confirmation for the selected installation.

Can the equipment be used with an overhead crane?

An overhead crane is one of the listed suspended installation options. Crane interface, headroom, load path and working envelope need to be checked for the project.

How is the correct cup layout selected?

Cup quantity and diameter must be matched to panel mass, dimensions, centre of gravity and sealable surface area. The final layout requires confirmation from the actual workpiece data.
