Usage form of gantry crane
1. General gantry cranes are mostly of box and truss structures, which are widely used. It can transport all kinds of finished and bulk materials, with a lifting capacity of less than 100 tons and a span of 4~39 meters. The ordinary gantry crane adopts the grab mode for higher operation level. General gantry cranes mainly refer to hook, grab, electromagnetic, hoist gantry cranes, and also include semi gantry cranes.
2. The gantry crane of the hydropower station is mainly used for lifting, hoisting and closing the gate, and also for installation. Hoisting 80~500 tons, small span, up to 8~16 meters; The lifting speed is low, 1~5m/min. Although this kind of crane can not be lifted frequently, the workload is large after use, so the operation level should be appropriately improved.
3. Shipbuilding gantry crane, used to assemble the hull, usually has two cranes: one has two main hooks, running along the track of the upper flange of the bridge; The other one has a main hook and an auxiliary hook, which run on the track of the lower flange of the bridge to overturn and lift large hull segments. Generally, the hoisting capacity is 100~1500 tons, the span can reach 185 meters, the hoisting speed is 2~15 meters/minute, and the inching speed is 0.1~0.5 meters/minute.
4. Container gantry crane for container terminal. After the containers unloaded from the quayside container transport bridge by the towing crane are transported to the storage yard or the rear, they are stacked by the container gantry crane or directly loaded and transported, which can speed up the turnover of the container transport bridge or other cranes. The container yard can be stacked with 3~4 layers and 6 rows of width, generally tire type or rail type. The box gantry crane has a larger span and height on both sides than the straddle car container crane. The crane is applicable to the transportation needs of the port and wharf, with a high level of operation. The lifting speed is 8-10 m/s; The span is determined by the number of container rows to be spanned, and cannot exceed 60 meters. The lifting capacities of 20 foot, 30 foot and 40 foot long containers are 20 tons, 25 tons and 30 tons respectively.
