10 Ton Overhead Crane Used In Serbia
Client: Our client is a company that specializes in designing and manufacturing industrial refrigeration systems. They required a 10-ton overhead crane for their new warehouse.
The overhead crane has a span of 12m and is designed with a FEM 1Am duty group. It has a lifting height of 6m, lifting speed of 2.8 m/min, cross travelling speed of 10m/min, and long travelling speed of 0~ 20m/min.
The client requested an electric chain hoist instead of a wire rope hoist, which was a non-standard requirement. They provided two reasons for this: firstly, all the hoists currently used in their plant are of the chain type hoist, so they are more familiar with its operation; secondly, the European electric wire rope hoist is much more expensive than the electric chain hoist of the same capacity. After assessing the working conditions of the crane site, our technical team designed a special 10-ton European standard overhead crane with an electric chain hoist. The overhead crane's long travelling is controlled steplessly by an inverter, providing a soft start and smooth running.

As the 12m span of the overhead crane is longer than a 40-foot container, our client agreed to have the main beam cut into two segments for ease of loading and lower freight cost. We provided strong stiffeners and sufficient high-strength bolts to join the two pieces together during assembly at the site.

Additionally, our Kinocranes crane kit is extremely easy to assemble and includes Quick Connect Plugs for the motors and control panel, eliminating the need for hard wiring.
Once the overhead crane is unloaded at the factory, our client can easily assemble and operate the equipment using our user manual.
